Just found another neat site for connecting with others and learning from each other. I’m already feeling at home there. I’m having a bit of a tough week, but I read some of the posts, and now I don’t feel so bad!
Perhaps you are feeling the need to vent your frustrations, or need a shoulder to lean on. SupportGroups.com has an amazing array of groups to choose from. Gone are the days when the only way to find support, was to physically join a group and attend meetings. Now you can find other like-minded people, right at your fingertips, anytime of the day or night.
I credit support groups for literally saving my life and sanity. First I went to 12-Step groups, then general support, then Vietnam Veterans Wives support group, and again a general support group.
Now I’ve joined several online PTSD groups, and am finding them to be helpful and interesting. So if you need someone to lsiten to your story, or perhaps you’d like to share some things that have helped you along the way, go for it. You don’t need to share your real name or anything. You may be surprised how the connections you make may improve your life.
